Mother takes the broken glass and bowl, but none of the other glass and then tells her kid to eat. Not for casual viewing as it can be tense or uncomfortable to watch, still happy to have watched it.

I like that it sticks with the end already in progress and that people have to deal with it, but I find that it needs more emotion and moments to actually make use of it. Perhaps slow and uninteresting is the best way to describe this and we got so few films about this. 😢

Friday night is usually a movie night for me, but I had a hard time deciding what to watch. I finally settled on the 2018 Soderbergh psychological thriller, Unsane, starring Claire Foy. She was, not surprisingly, amazing as the involuntarily committed patient who brings her phobias in with her. It had some weird tonal shifts I didn't like but was still a good watch. If you have Kanopy / Hoopla, it's worth checking out I think. @movies #movies #films

No monsters, aliens or evil empires… just the occasional bird or rabbit, but still one of my favourite sci-fi movies of all time. It’s an intelligent movie with a heart, and decades ahead of its time regarding protecting the environment.
It may have been filmed in 1972 and the effects may be slightly dated, but it’s a little gem.
