I don’t even try to shake that tree anymore. They don’t care and that’s fine by me. Track presets are a total game changer for real modular templates. Astonishing what they have done.

There’s about 35 minutes of score in the film, most of which features live musicians, so it meant keeping to a tight schedule: about a week to spot the film, come up with the score’s instrumentation, Logic template, and major themes; two weeks to write the music; and finally one week to record and mix it. 🫣 (This is all fairly typical for a TV score.) 🤪 #filmscoring #tvmusic #filmscore

It just depends on your workflow and preferences. If you have a decently powered computer you can make music for films just with that. Many DAWs offer a basic set of tools right out of the box (instrument libraries, plugins). #filmscoring #composing #MusicProduction

AIR Studios just turned 30! 🥳 The studio founded by Sir George Martin has seen its share of incredible recording sessions over the past three decades and I feel extremely lucky to have been able to record there many times.
