I’m surprised there isn’t already a new remake of #V given the success of #StrangerThings and the relevance of the fascist themes. It would be perfect material for a quality streaming series. As long as they keep the tension. And the wonderful theme music with real analogue synthesizers, as in the #FinalBattle.

Yesterday I was struggling mightily with the middle scene of the climactic #FinalBattle, realizing I had set it up wrong and I had to invent whole sections of the scene. Today the ideas flowed. I know how to fix or replace multiple upstream scenes. I finished the last two scenes of this POV arc and I'm floored. Even with all its flaws I think it'll work; I have ideas for how to fix the broken parts.

-Athena vs Mercedes was a pretty good match, but the problem with Athena turning heel on Dark is that nobody saw it

-Daniel Garcia vs. Wheeler Yuta was my match of the night. Exceptional in-ring storytelling, made fantastic use of the Pure Championship rules. Would love to see Garcia join the BCC

- FTR vs. Dem Boys was incredible, an absolute bloodbath. Love that the "Dax + Dog Collar = Fantasy" sign made it on camera for a good few seconds before someone realized what it actually meant. They did an extraordinary job seamlessly setting up some pretty involved spots, like the early bit where Mark threw Dax into the chain Jay was hanging from. Main exception was Dax's chain-wrapped headbutt, that was stupid

- Joe vs. Juice as a fine match in the death spot, somebody had to do it

- Was absolutely shocked that Claudio won with a Swing, he looked kinda shocked too. He deserves the belt, hope he has a long run this time

-I'm still a big fan of Brian Cage, but he's the only part of The Embassy that excites me. I appreciate him coming out with the Mortis mask, as I do every Kanyon tribute he does.

I usually like it when wrestling subverts my expectations. But seeing two of the best young technical wrestlers just brawling is a bit annoying. Also I like how they are using the rules to tell the story of Yuta vs. Garcia.
