Does anyone know if I can subscribe for Final Cut on iPad with my business Apple ID while still being signed in with my personal Apple ID on the device? It's so hard to make Apple give a VAT invoice 🙄. How do you deal with apps that you buy "for work” purposes?

@ismh Connected 457 follow-up: Shake was compatible with Final Cut, but it was never part of Final Cut or Final Cut Studio. I’ve owned every version of Final Cut Pro/Studio since FCP 1.2 (but I’ve never had Shake). I still miss Soundtrack Pro and round-tripping, but the magnetic timeline is awesome. #FinalCutPro

Discovered yesterday why my video file was taking so long to upload to #YouTube. In its wisdom, #FinalCutPro had decided to ignore my default export setting, and exported as ProRes instead of H264. Sorted now.

I just edited a short video using #FinalCutPro on the #iPad.

That was way easier and faster than on the #Mac. I think I’m sold 😍

I was really hoping #FinalCutPro and #LogicPro for iPad would have been more accessible out of the gate, but I think there are just issues for everyone that need to be fixed, like the fact that you can’t import multiple files into Logic. Why isn’t that a thing!?

I’ve just discovered Final Cut Pro’s multicam feature. OMG. What a great tool! It’s making editing my latest YouTube video SO much easier than the way I’ve previously edited multi angle footage!!

For people thinking $5 a month for #FinalCutPro for iPad is expensive, I spend £50 a month on vMix - a live streaming software vision mixer, and yesterday I spent £75 for 30 days of use of Mitti, a video playout app. Mitti isn’t even for content *creation*, purely professional video playback. (Fundamentally, it’s QuickTime or VLC with extra bells and whistles.)

Final Cut is CHEAP if you’re actually using it professionally.

I'd be super-excited about #FinalCutPro today except I don't have an M1 iPad lol. I'd be just as excited if Apple brought subscriptions (and the auto-crop feature) to desktop... but they didn't today anyway.

So #FinalCutPro on #iPad with #VoiceOver using a keyboard is not the best experience. We could do some things, but it was very clunky and cumbersome. We will have a #podcast with our first impressions this evening.
