I know it's #Wrensday but it's hard to not notice a half a dozen bright yellow #goldfinches frolicking in #JoePyeWeed & #falseBlueIndigo because here in #NJ it looks like Mars outside due to the Canadian wildfires. The humans are all inside so the birdies are out and about. This is fine! #findingjoy #birdwatching

We’re big fans of #FindingJoy in #GoodFood. Especially fresh vegetables prepared simply & well. But no one responds well when admonished to eat their vegetables lest bad things happen to them.

It sucks the joy right out of a meal.

Hello. Here's a #SilentSunday on Monday. Would love to be there right now.

For folk following #JoinIn and #JoinInIsNotJustForXmas, this photo was taken in March 2021. It is one of the endless stunning beaches along the Queensland coastline. Squeeky sand, clear blue water, and lined by nature. And no one on the beach at the time. At times waves rolling in.

Turning left you would see the famous #SurfersParadise not too far in the distance.

Many years ago there was an advertising campaign with the slogan 'Queensland. Beautiful one day, perfect the next'. They may have had this view in mind when devising it. Peaceful, quiet, powerful.

Hilarious. I waited to see the responses and all that was needed to halt the debate was mention of Woden Plaza. It was ever thus.

Having hated growing up in Canberra and a long period living elsewhere, I now appreciate its charm, the fresh air and open spaces, and ready access to nature. There are great national institutions too.

I secretly love that folk say they would never live here and that it's (apparently) boring - great!!! Fewer to contend with and no time lost to endless traffic issues.

Good morning. Could be a slow weekend here with the latest wave of newbies joining / activating accounts.

Another photo of the Japanese Maple in my garden. I bought it as a sappling and its been a joy to watch it grow over the laat couple of years. The bright and rich burgandy coloured leaves and canopy shape are beautiful. I bought it as a reminder of a most glorious and beloved tree in my mother's garden. #Memories.
