I have just noticed that on #FindMyPast civilian births records look like they are referencing the #GRO births index "direct", in some sense.

Mother's maiden surname is being shown on a couple of births transcribed records I'm looking for in the 1850s.

There are some other tools to create biographies & the sourcer app which is wonderful for grabbing sources from #Ancestry #FamilySearch #FindMyPast etc

Thought I was losing my mind when I couldn't find a baptism record image from New York on #FindMyPast that I knew I had seen previously there. Just the index. Learned FMP contract ended with the Archdiocese of NY and all the images had to come down. Luckily I had downloaded the others I had previously found...just not this one baptism. #Genealogy #Geneadons #NewYorkGenealogy #FamilyHistory

I've been doing #genealogy for a few years now, but mainly using #ancestry #findmypast #myheritage, #23andme, #livingdna etc.

Any sites that are bigger in #europe where i could perhaps match with more people in Germany etc?

Any other sites in general i'm not using you think would be beneficial?
