I have just noticed that on civilian births records look like they are referencing the births index "direct", in some sense.

Mother's maiden surname is being shown on a couple of births transcribed records I'm looking for in the 1850s.

(I'll edit this post with an image.)

— its sentimental & historical significance. with , speaks of UK , where each person signed their own entry. A large handwriting sample!!

‘“Each signature is unique for that person in that exact moment, you can put yourself in their shoes.”

Even the style of one brief entry can reveal a lot about a person, especially when you have background information such as their economic circumstances.’

Unfortunately, looks like it was just a rumor
Not seeing anything on the wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Apps
Here is a walkthrough for doing the GEDCompare process:
wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Curren
Just did a small as a test, since it's been almost five years since my first one
Works good
There are some other tools to create biographies & the sourcer app which is wonderful for grabbing sources from etc

Thought I was losing my mind when I couldn't find a baptism record image from New York on that I knew I had seen previously there. Just the index. Learned FMP contract ended with the Archdiocese of NY and all the images had to come down. Luckily I had downloaded the others I had previously found...just not this one baptism.

Any sites that are bigger in where i could perhaps match with more people in Germany etc?

Any other sites in general i'm not using you think would be beneficial?

The BNA on Find My Past is a great resource. It's helped me several times with my tree 👍👍😊

Usually reports of court cases involving my rellies 👎👎🥺
