This is Tideswell Dale. One of my favourite pieces and one of my eureka moments - stitched from just one skein of hand dyed wool. I'm on duty today in the @peakdistrictartisans Gatehouse Gallery at Haddon Hall. A wonderful venue. The artists vary each week and I will be exhibiting until 29 May, returning 5 June for a further 3 weeks. I've been a bit lax on posting, but now you know why!

I think this has grown on me, especially now it's framed. Top Banana, the banana houses at Chatsworth. "Almost every banana consumed in the Western world is descended from a plant grown at Chatsworth over 180 years ago" 🍌😁

Bit of a change for Geli printing onto fabric, which will then be embellished with stitch. These are the ones that made the cut so far. Plus two trial prints on paper which I really wish had been on fabric! Ah well 😉😁

I'm not sure about this one 🤔 I originally left the negative space so as not to detract from the building. But now I think it might need something to take the background back. Would be a paint wash, I think, as stitch would bring it forwards I feel (secon image has quick and dirty phone paint edits) appreciated 😊
