A little #Sunrise to start the work week. This from the #WichitaWildlifeRefuge in southwest Oklahoma. My heart goes out to those affected by the devastating magnitude 7.8 (mww) quake on the East Anatolian Fault. The #FiniteFault solution suggests a nodal plane of 228˚ strike and 89˚ dip, displacement is left-lateral. Displacements may be as high as 3 meters. I have not heard from any former students who may have been affected. Hope to hear from them today.
