Rettet die hHaie – EU-Anhörung am 27.03.2023 Die Initiative Stop #Finning schützt die Haie davor, dass ihnen die Rückenflosse ohne Beträubung abgeschnitten wird und sie dann im Meer ertrinken oder gleich getötet werden. Viele Hai-Arten sind deshalb schon kurz vor #Ausrottung.Und es ist extremste #Tierquälerei. Auch viele Länder in der #EU sind Abnehmer der Flossen bzw. der Produkte. Deutschland gehört dazu. As many as 73 million #sharks are finned around the world each year. Shark species have declined by 71% since the 1970s, due mainly to #overfishing. #Disrupt the global fin market.

È la pratica di tagliare la pinna dorsale agli squali, usata in molte culture orientali per la preparazione di cibi tradizionali, condannando ad una morte atroce l'animale.

In Europa sarebbe ILLEGALE, ma viene ancora praticata moltissimo, esportando grandissime quantità di pinne.
