Replacing an old (ext3!) HDD with a new, slightly larger SSD, I booted into #Finnix to transfer files from the old drive to the new drive. It was taking a while and I had to go out, so I just left the rsync running.

Came back to find that despite the new drive being ~5GB larger, I had ~10GB less free space on the new drive. I *think* that's because rsync's "-a" option doesn't preserve hard-links (unlike cp's "-a" option), so I added "-H" to the rsync options and restarted it... but now I have to wait hours more to find out if that fixes it.
