Okay, got #OBS and #Firebot both installed and basic settings configured. Both are linked to my #Twitch account. Now to figure out what to do next...

so I want to have my first stream on #owncast be on #ForzaMotorSport when it comes out in 2 months. I wish #Firebot could work with owncast but sadly they think it will serve no purpose, as it is not popular. I can't wait to do this however. I do want #BlindGamesPresents to be on owncast as I get full federated control of my streaming.

@owncast True. I talked to the #Firebot guys and they are not interested unless there are thousands of servers to make this work with #owncast. they onlyh see 10. Sad really, or at least that was the impression I got. too bad as I really want to switch my stuff there, but I want the automation of firebot as it makes things sso much easier.

I'm trying to get #Firebot to add #owncast@fosstodon.orgcast, however they seemreally hesitent. At least, those on the discord do. If someone from @owncast can please make a case on their github I would appreciate it. I really love this tool and want to see it intagrated on multiple platforms. Thanks so much yall. This would really boost accessibility of my #Livestreams. #OpenSource

I really cannot wait to show off this configuration I put together for firebot and twitch. I'm trying not to make it too loud so as not to trigger anyone especially me. sounds can make me feel a certain way or even get dizzy so I'm being careful as I'm the one who has to sit through them every stream lol!

for those who use #firebot I have to pick your brain. i have a chat command which works, except I think the twitch people can se it. I have it clearing the command afterwords except I believe it still shows up in my twitch feed. How can I be sure it's cleared aftr I send the command? or is my firebot chat feed different from my twitch feed.

I wish #firebot wirked with #Owncast. This bot really is truely amazing! It can do so much, and if you know what you are doing you can script almost anything.

Ok, so #firebot users, I imported all the tts events, and had my events I created go away, woops? that's ok, I recreated them. Anyway, the TTS voice volume is quite low. How do I fix this?

ALright, looks like if I want to stream, my best bet for good audio is to just use my external Microphone, downside is, it doesn't have a mute button natively, so I have to mute using OBS just in case things come up, so gotta constantly watch out for it, but at least this way, it provides good quality audio without sacrificing anything either capturing-wise or audio-wise on my Microphone due to the low quality of the Xbox Microphone for the headset. Any #OBS users know how to integrate #firebot in to work with OBS, so that i can create a shortcut that allows me to mute and unmute these #sources, it would be really Appreciated.

I've been slowly working on overhauling the look of my stream. Lately it's been moving away from StreamElements to local bots for alerts. I find it mostly easier to work with the bots to tweak things.

What I'm struggling with is finding good sounds for each event. What sounds good in my head vs actually on stream doesn't always line up.

That's all. Just mild frustration with my creative self. 😄
