Had a great game of #COIN #FireInTheLake yesterday with some old friends. I took NVA and gave them a run for their money, but got snuffed out quickly with the retailiation from the bases in Saigon. Peaked too earlier. VC ended up just squeaking by on the failed coup. Kudos again to @markherman54 and @Volko for a timelessly good game.

Excited to play Fire in the Lake on Saturday. It will be my first time playing with other players. I have played the full game both with bots and 4-handed before though so i feel pretty comfortable with doing the teach. #FireInTheLake #GMTGames

I managed to sneak in another game - #HeartsandMinds from #CompassGames . IMHO it is a great design. It has beautiful map. And I think that it manages to capture the essence of the Vietnam war really well. VC ambushes, US mobility and a lot more.
Rules are easy to teach and it plays fast. I have seen the Ken Burns documentary and lot of events from it are on the cards, so if you are interested, you can also learn something from the history.

One question remains. Should I buy #FireInTheLake ?🤔
