That guy who owns that other website said, he's a "free speech absolutist"? Considering the definition of absolutism, he may not be a hypocrite, as many are saying.

Absolutism (noun):

1-a) A political theory that absolute power should be vested in one or more rulers
1-b) Government by an absolute ruler or authority: DESPOTISM.

2) Advocacy of a rule by absolute standards or principles.

3) An absolute standard or principle.

It would seem his self characterization as a "free-speech absolutist", may be spot on. He certainly seems to be in favor of absolute power to dismantle free-speech and the First Amendment rights.

They said the record did NOT show that Fauci communicated directly w/ the platforms & said his efforts to promote the govt’s #scientific & &policy views did NOT “run afoul of the #FirstAmendment.”

The judges wrote that the WH likely “#coerced the platforms to make their #moderation decisions by way of intimidating messages & threats of adverse #consequences.” They also found the #WhiteHouse “significantly encouraged the platforms’ decisions by commandeering their decision-making processes, both in violation of the #FirstAmendment.”

A WH spox said in a statement that the #DOJ was “reviewing” the decision and evaluating its options.

The #FirstAmendment issues are serious, but Republicans chose to draw their line in the sand on the ability to post false or misleading information about a pandemic that killed millions. #Ivarmectin ftw, amirite?
