Another in my occasional series that is a view from a bridge.
Today I was out early for the first time since before Christmas and was able to catch some interesting colours as the sun rose behind the low ridge beyond the marshes.
Some upside to being back at work it turns out.

on the first day of 2023 we snowshoed a 5K, not a little task, I ate perfectly hard boiled eggs and Celtic flake salt and (I’ve always wanted to do this) made myself a hot beverage at 6,000 feet on a mountain, lemony pine needles my scented candle, sun so bright I put my hood up. I don’t know how to make a day more joyful. the mountain, the snow, the weather, the peek-a-boo peak, the icicles more silver than tinsel #firstday2023

Up early and back to work, now all I need to do is remember how to log in, oh and find where I left my motivation, pretty sure I put it down somewhere around here...
