I know I'm a little late to the party on reading the #FirstLawTrilogy, but Sand Dan Glokta might be the best written character I've ever encountered.

I appreciate that #JoeAbercrombie can write a chapter introducing half a dozen new characters and by the end they are each distinct and memorable—by name—when I finish. It’s an important skill for a writer, especially in genre fiction, and he’s very good at it. #BeforeTheyAreHanged #FirstLawTrilogy
