We're in a #COVID surge the closest this half-hour press conference about #BostonMA #FirstNight came to recommending masking was to tell people to do "what's comfortable" and obliquely reference the bogus "immunity debt" theory. They also told people to stay home if they feel sick, which is useless since nearly half of COVID spread is asymptomatic. Why do we continue to deny reality?

We were in very cold Bend, Oregon, outdoors. First: fire dancers with klezmer & trad music... then a local rabbi gives the blessing & lights a giant menorah... then he gets on a manlift, rises up in the air, and throws a ton of foil-wrapped gelt down -- the kids go wild.
