Somewhere in inlet near #Qingdao on #Shandong peninsula -coast of #YellowSea- is the base of chinese nuclear-powered submarine type 092 Xia Class
Qingdao is home to North Sea Fleet.
Chinese SSBN fleet does not support operational deployment as deterrent so sub base is built to withstand a nuclear #FirstStrike and have some hope of #SecondStrike in retaliation
Chinese SSBN can carry and fire JL-1 missiles while submerged but it is unclear if it has fit JL-2s.
