So, thank you, Elon, for confirming my gut instincts and justifying my exodus even WAY before you'd decided to buy Twitter. I was part of the early (and much more intimate and polite!) #socialmediascene (circa 2007), well before the #firstwave #twitterexodus to FB, yet another platform I've long since abandoned.🤣

There is much talk about an #indian #renaissance, with "breathless" commentary on the #fastestgrowing #indianeconomy.

For those of us who came of age during the #90s, with the #firstwave of #liberalizaion, #privatization, and #globalization, the #past offers some #lessons for the #present and the #future of #india.

Lest we forget, we just cannot become another #authoritarian #superpower, much like #china, the obsession of #india's #elites as a #rolemodel.
