Final #mastodon #firstweek observation for tonight: I love watching the feeds of both this instance and the federated timeline scroll themselves by. There's something both fascinating and freeing about watching these ephemeral rivers of posts float up the screen, knowing you could never read them all. Reminds me of scrolling through AM radio stations at night as a kid, hearing alternately clear and garbled syllables with no burden of context as the tuner needle passes each frequency by.
