Finished this while we were on the Washington coast around August 23. Thought I had posted a review: inspiring, thorough. I don’t read a lot of biography: this is a political one of a most interesting US Senator: Frank Church, yes of #ChurchCommittee renown. This is the dynamic that prevented Pelosi and Schiff from getting the #FBI’s Patriot Act powers reauthorized a couple years ago, and instead this time it is #FISA and FBI’s warrantless backdoor searches of foreign intel for Americans’ info.
