Pie. This evening's extravaganza. I've been promising myself a fish pie for weeks but hadn't had the energy by the evening to prepare one from scratch. Is it the nights drawing in? I definitely feel like hibernating at the moment. Anyway, the other thing I'd been avoiding could no longer be ignored. Defrosting the freezer. There in front of me were the makings of the avoidance pie. Salmon, haddock, smoked salmon, and prawns. Fortunately there's plenty left over for tomorrow's lunch. #fishpie
