Spent the afternoon with my brother making part one of my sister's 50th present. She is a lab tech at a school so converted a conical flask to a terrarium for her. We've allowed a few months for things to establish and grow in a bit. #terrarium #IndoorPlants #ferns #fittonia #moss #ConicalFlask #gardening

See here a mixed leaf bowl I keep under a cloche. This began as a single stem of nerve plant (the red veined #fittonia), and then I added a single stem of polka dot (#hypoestes), and then a short stem of #peperomia. The cloche is only under sun for 1-2 hours a day, but always has ambient light, and the inside remains humid. All specimens have turned into a lil kitchen counter bush!!!
