The online voting platform that was used by Italy's #FiveStarMovement to select the candidates for the 2013 parliamentary elections didn't take account of human decision heuristics and cognitive shortcuts, research shows.

Candidates were more likely to attract votes if they appeared towards the top of the screen and if they appeared more likeable from the self-uploaded picture.

I think it is very positive that #Italy is discussing about the #mandatory #vaccination and also established #parties see it critical.
What seems disappointing to me is the behaviour of the #fivestarmovement once again, of which nothing seems to be heard.

In the #FiveStarMovement I had great hope until a few years ago - but I am seriously disappointed from it.
The only thing that can help the #FiveStar movement ist a radical break with the politics it has made in the government, especially since 2020, and with it's current leadership-team.

And this party was a great hope to me in Europe until 2 years ago.
Haven't they learned anything in the last 20 years? #MassSurveillance doesn't prevent #terrorrism, but is a dictatorical measure against the own population.

#LegaNord are fascists, that's a fact. #Salvini's first job as a new minister was to expel all so called 'illegals'. Salvini is a friend of other extreme-right parties in Europe, so nothing new here.

The #FiveStarMovement (#M5S) proved itself again they can't be trusted. They have no ideology and no balls. They just eat whatever is on the menu.
