It's so interesting to me how people become interested in, even obsessed with a particular subject. Lately I find myself thinking about a certain kind of orchid almost nonstop. I only have to do a few searches online to find others with a similar obsession, and books on the topic selling for a hundred dollars or more. The obsession rose spontaneously in me. Why?
