At that design stage with #FixedThatForYou where I am reading my notes and asking myself why I needlessly complicate things? Sure, it looks clever on paper, but it saps fun from the game when you try to enforce a bunch of persnickety "ifs, ands & buts" on players who are still learning the rules.

So, that's a bunch of pointless restrictions scrapped and now the explanatory text flows better and is a lot easier to understand in one go.

This morning, working on #FixedThatForYou , my wholesome #ttrpg about repairs & chores, while watching #BotC with the #NoRollsBarred crew

Continuing to work on the backlog and the next game neds some trial & error writing.

#FixedThatForYou is a game about helping out with chores and labour, but I want to limit how much the PCs can achieve before they ned to rest.

I have to strike a balance between getting a ruleset that enables players to get at least one thing every day without allowing them to breeze through a lot of tasks with minimal cost. There will be a lot of redrafting to get this properly balanced.
