How should you fit a curved window stay like the one linked? The picture shows it fitted with the curve going downwards, but I feel like it should go upwards.

Right, so I'm spraying my new laser cut front panel to replace the one I made before that had a glue incident...
I decided that screwing it to the plate behind would be a better plan than gluing it anyway, because the plastic panel behind it which has all the switches mounted to it is glued together since the previous owner maybe dropped it?
