A little more than a week ago I cancelled my Spotify subscription and went back to building up my own music library.

No need for DRM to listen to my music, so I can listen how/where/when I want.
No one can suddenly remove songs I'm used to listen to.
For the money I usually spend on Spotify, I can now instead buy an album every month, to add to my music library.
And I think/hope the artists gets a bigger cut of the money I spend on music.

This #music is #classical in genre but has more in common with #AAA #anime than it would have with any #Bach or #tchaikovsky.
