As it happens, we have not gone away as planned. We have gas men outside digging up the pavement (again) trying to fix a problem. We have had no hot water all weekend

So, I did write it down - once I had dealt with some of 'The Gas Man Cometh' stress by sawing fire wood and chopping logs!

Sad to hear of the passing of Kit Hesketh-Harvey in early Feb, whom I knew as half of humorous musical double act "Kit and the Widow". I'd been fortunate to see a few of their live shows, but my introduction was their presentation of classical themes to which Andrew Lloyd-Webber had paid homage...
