Really struggling to keep up with #FlashFicFeb, but I'll get back to the other prompts eventually! Here is the one for today.

#FlashFicFeb number 12 complete. A shade over 4K words. I've lost about 1/2 a day per day in terms of doing a story per day, mostly because I've overwritten by about 2K words on each piece. It's not that the stories aren't tight, I'm just writing complete stories here rather than the vignettes that you'd normally associate with #flashfiction. Also, creating the kind of creeping dread I want for #neverbury takes time and space.

It takes more space to show rather than tell.

#FlashFicFeb number 11 completed. Took a very loose interpretation of "Flying over City" to work in a fun story about #football. And #voodoo. 3.4K words in the bank, on to number 12... #amwriting #WritingCommunity

#FlashFicFeb number 10 is complete. I thought it would be a little shorter but #Neverbury wants what it wants. As does a certain hotel in the latest story. Another 3459 words in the can. #amwriting #WritingCommunity

Non vou facer máis relatos do #FlashFicFeb e explícovos por que.

Principalmente, que para poder manter o ritmo dun relato cada día, aconsellan facelos de en torno a 500 palabras, pero as ideas que teño en recámara desexando escribir merecen ser tratadas con máis lonxitude, máis cariño e máis tempo que iso.

Outros anos a iniciativa servíame para romper a parálise, perder a vergoña, e mesmo darme ideas. Coido que xa estou máis rodado, desvergoñado, e con ideas propias.
