Okay, I've got an idea for an actual story. The prompt was to pick a spec-fic creature and a profession and build a story around it.

I'm at a Rugby tournament all day today, but I'll have a notebook and a pen with me. Here's hoping I manage to get some words down. I've got until Wednesday, so... 🤞✍️

Week 2 of the Flash Fiction Challenge I'm taking part in is complete. It was a near thing, meeting the submission deadline. I literally clicked "submit" with seconds to spare, but I got it done! This week's story even has a clear beginning, middle, and end... I think.

Flash is crazy hard to write, but I'm having a blast trying my hand at it.

Week 1 of a 6-week long flash fiction challenge has begun. Writing flash is so hard!! I'm 550 words into a 750 word max challenge and my "story" has barely started.
