Got three chapters under my belt so far, and I can relax for the rest of the day. A quick visit to Rotten Tomatoes to see what's what in film got me looking through their list of their top 200 LGBTQ films for Pride month, and I was reminded to check out 'Flee'. I've been meaning to do that for some time but keep forgetting, but I got the rental set up, and I'll either watch it later today or next weekend.

I'm trying to force myself back to a more leisurely writing pace, which I kind of forgot to do for the last three years. Granted, that helped me put out more books than I originally planned, but I really, REALLY need to slow down and spread things out more. I'm already burning the candle at both ends at the day job. Can't afford to do the same thing with writing.

It's ironic, isn't it, that now we've got a full staff on board, I'm able to take on my duties full-time in my new position, but there's suddenly never enough time in the day for me to get everything done. Or at the very least, I'm way more wiped out when I get home nowadays compared to when I was actually bouncing around doing support and coordinator work all over the place. Very strange.

Anyway, something's got to give, and I really need to rein myself in and go back to my old writing calendar. No more simultaneous projects because nowadays, that's a disaster waiting to happen.
