@ithinkwong I think your app is a great way to get notes into @obsidian especially for people who can't use it on their work computers. Tagging @obsidianmd@a.gup.pe the #obsidian group on Mastodon, so it will get re-posted to everyone who follows that group. Everyone who follows #obsidian or #ObsidianMD (because you can also follow hashtags on Mastodon) might also see these posts. 145 followers · 844 posts · Server pkm.social@toran You can add to @obsidian @obsidianmd using #FleetingNotes and store those notes within the app (also available as a browser extension or PWA). The notes are written directly into your vault and live in their own folder with front matter, but you cannot access non-FA notes that are already in the vault. I am not affiliated with Fleeting Notes, but I like their product a lot and it is a great way to add notes on the go or when you only have browser access and can't install Obsidian.

The new people will have to be brought up to speed. That, combined with the fact that sharing to Evernote on Android has been broken for weeks has caused me to jump ship to #Obsidian + #FleetingNotes

@EpiphanicSynchronicity @torb My self-inflicted shenanigans :blobcatmelt: in 1st setting up both my #Obsidian & LogSeq vaults & then “successfully" :ablobwave: syncing said vaults to iCloud have lead me to fear opening either on mobile and usually using #HintsAI from https://Hints.so or #FleetingNotes for direct to #ObsidianMD or considering using @capacities , #ReflectApp , #Tana , @joplinapp or #AnyType for mobile entries on the go. I prefer desktop for longer entries, so it works out.

It's designed to post via Telegram, email, WhatsApp, etc , as a digital assistant. It will also post to #Notion #ClickUp and Google calendar. Only because I'm a little scared of messing up my vault by trying to open on iPhone since I'm not using the official sync. I also use #FleetingNotes in my browser. For some reason these remote posting options really fascinate me.

Now, I just have notes (my words, with a link back to what inspired them as appropriate) and quotes (someone else's words, formatted and attributed clearly.
The only other level I need, at present, is what I'm calling "arguments." #Dramatica theory claims every work of art is an argument; I'm seeing every hypothesis as an argument with ideas that reinforce or subvert it.
