It's #fleetweek in #nyc and we've been getting jet flyovers, they fly up the Hudson and past my building. Ran out to grab a pic but I was a little late, from hearing the sound to getting to my balcony, but did get this.

Ahh yes, Fleet Week.

Or as I call it, the week New York City feels like a 40's musical.

Top tip for anyone availing of the #FleetWeek Ship tours in #NYC. - or anyone ever looking to get to a pier here - If you subtract 40 from the pier number that is the cross street. So Pier 86 is at W46th. Pier 59 is at W19th St. If it's a pier number under 40? It's way down in the bottom of Manhattan near FiDi or as my son puts it 'Where the streets have no numbers.'
