I am Rob, and I have been writing #software for so long, some of my first languages had names with all capital letters. Now I write in many languages, including #embeddedsystems and #fpga.
A couple of decades ago I took #flying lessons, and eventually became a #flightinstructor, so I could pass on my obsession. Sadly, I don't fly much right now.
I play #bassguitar for fun, mostly classic #rock, #metal, and #classicrock and have even played in a few local bands.

I’m also a #pilot and a #flightinstructor and I love to go #running and #hiking and #cooking and drink #wine and #beer. I love to #travel and lived for 4 years in #Portugal and have spent significant time in #Spain #France and the #UK (my husband’s a Brit).
