It's been quite the weekend. Made it through my panel and reading at FoF without a hitch, yay! I'm totally exhausted now. Had a terrible allergy attack during my reading where my eyes opened up like Niagra frickin' Falls, water literally pouring down my cheeks.

Still possibly the best reading I've ever done 😂

Finishing up the last day of #FlightsOfFoundry, and I’m reminded again of just how important it is to have these virtual con spaces. The shift in accessibility and inclusivity is evident, and opens so many doors to thought and discussion that just wouldn’t happen without having so many global voices take part. Nothing is perfect, but I’m thankful for the work the con staff has put in to make it what it is.

Enjoying #flightsoffoundry so much, but have managed to overwhelm myself. Taking a break to bake bread, care for my basil, sage, pepper, rosemary, and tomato plants, and listen to audiobooks. With any luck, I'll get some revision done later this evening.

I've been having an excellent time over at Flights of Foundry this weekend. I've attended several thoughtful panels, and the one I took part in, Stories of the Fat Body, went *incredibly* well and had a lot of interaction.

But I'm totally wiped out. After one online panel. I know I've done quite a bit this week, but I can't wait until I get more of my old energy back!

Tomorrow, I am doing a live reading. SUPER excited about that!

just learned about "flights of foundry", an interdisciplinary online convention of speculative fiction which is taking place RIGHT NOW and the upcoming weekend. the program is pretty exciting, and it's almost around the clock!
