More of the #Northland is being placed under a #FloodWarning due to rising waters from melting snow packs.
Locations south of Highway 2 in Bayfield County are part of this latest warning, lasting through Friday afternoon.
A part of Highway 63 near Grand View is closed as water is covering it.
Also, Highway 137 just west of Ashland is closed until water levels drop.

There are reports of water over Highway 2 in the Kimball area, which will likely continue for the next several days.
In addition, a closure of Highway 169 between Mellen and Cedar is in effect for flood waters over this roadway.

Highway 13, the main route along the #SouthShore, is blocked from Port Wing west to a couple miles east of Highway 2. Officially it's County Road P.
#FloodWarning is in effect for the western South Shore through Thursday afternoon.
Basic rule of thumb with any water on roadways "Turn Around, Don't Drown!"
Expect more road closures like this over the next several days.

The #BayfieldPeninsula is under an Areal Flood Warning through Thursday afternoon.
Many of the rivers and streams in this area will see a rise in water levels, leading to flooding of roads and properties.

For the third day in a row, the #Northland can say they have seen the warmest day of 2023 so far.
A lake breeze is still possible along the #LakeSuperior shoreline today.
Wednesday is looking to be even warmer, with record highs possible.
Meanwhile, the melting snow is leading to rising river levels.
A #FloodWarning is in effect for the Bad River and Tyler Forks rivers in Ashland County. Plan for impacts on roadways until further notice.
