I’ve found the best way to get a lively feed is to follow early and follow often. The people here seem to be kind, smart, interesting. I’m following people both in my field and far outside of it and am loving it. Hope this helps some!

I had signed onto one of the big instances but it quickly closed registrations. So many of these people would have been spooked by all the choices and unsure of what and where to pick. I made my own instance for them. @Satori and I wrote docs to help them and the rest is history
