My first dahlia is out, it’s a Keith Hammett collarette dahlia of an unknown name.

They are commonly cultivated, but #endangered, with just a few known #wild populations in #China. The species is dioecious, having separate pollen-producing trees and ovary-producing trees. Ginkgo biloba is one the oldest living tree species, and individuals can live hundreds to several thousands of years.
