Чёт опять я упоролся по клавиатурам #foss для :android: 😖 Вцелом приятно удивила unexpected keyboard, но в итоге вернулся на #FlorisBoard правда 4-ю бету. Проект как то застыл в разработке, но тем не менее...

Personally I love #FlorisBoard. It has swype-like gesture typing (takes a little while to get used to your vocabulary), emoji input etc. It's also very comfortable. They're currently working on a major update to add a suggested word ribbon like other major keyboards. Best of all, it's #FOSS (in #Fdroid) and doesn't send everything you type off to $MEGACORP so they can better figure out how to manipulate you and yours more effectively. 💕

I've been using #florisboard for about a month and holy shit the swipe feature FUCKING sucks. I write most words at least twice, even fucking basic ones, and almost every few sentences requires a word be retried 20-30 fuckin times. It can't tell i'm not trying to write what it's suggesting. It's the most frustrating thing i deal with by a long shot, i swear i nearly have a full on outrage trying to write ANYTHING

(It took 10 fuckin minutes just to write this)

I'm trying out #florisBoard and #anySoftKeyboard again because it feels like #gBoard gets worse every time it updates (I do not need GIFs in my keyboard).
But I still end up using it because there are just a few features that I can't live without!

Смотрю на свои посты в :mastodon: и понимаю, что не привык я ещё к #florisboard или настроил неверно. То пробелы проскакивают, то буквы путаются... Надо бы как то определить, с чем связано (расстоянием между знаками, размером шр фта, расстояние меж строк) и в какую сторону. 🤔
Но анализировать сейчас лень 😝

Allerdings habe ich noch ein Problem: immer wenn ich z. B. "Das" tippe, entsteht daraus "Dá". Das "S" schreibt es dann gar nicht.

Kann mir da jemand helfen?

I have a question about #Android. On #iOS, I can set up text replacements so that when I type something, for example, "wyd", it will be replaced with "What are you doing?". I can't seem to find something like that. I'm using the #GrapheneOS keyboard, #OpenBoard, and #FlorisBoard. It's really frustrating to me because I use it every day when I use my #iPhone, and sometimes I get so irritated that I just switch to using my iPhone to send messages to my bestie. Is there a way to do this on Android?

#florisboard has a weird bug where pressing '>' in the symbols additional layout outputs '?'.

It's completely my fault as i messed the layout file up 😞.
