I have 40 tiny foxglove seedlings potted up and another 20 that I could add to them. I'm loath to discard them (because the seeds were a mix and what if I get all of one kind and none of the others?!) but surely 60 is too many, even if some of them are bound not to make it? #gardening #flowergarden #foxgloves #seedlings #fallplanting

Finally picked a few more flowers from the garden including this Texas Plume celosia, which has struggled so hard in this soggy weather. It’s a heat loving plant and we just didn’t get consistent dry heat at all. I also only grew one plant from seed because I was sprouting too many things this spring 😅 I’ll attempt again next year.

Summer Berry Mix yarrows. Grown from seed, and honestly I'm blown away at how such tiny seeds could produce such large plants! I'm hoping to get an apricot/peach colored one, but this one finally adds a bit more color than the white ones we have.

I don't grow any vegetables, just flowers. I noticed he was eating some flower petals that had dropped on the ground. I love small furry creatures, so I wish him no harm. But this is my first rabbit so I don't know if I should be concerned that he will start damaging my garden.

The David Austin Roses account on IG said that Emily Brontë is a variety that can withstand windy and rainy conditions, which I was surprised about! I’ve been babying my bush since the first failed flush and now they’ve produced the most beautiful blooms (with a little help from organza bag protection) 😍😍😍
