Would appreciate any tips to sprout #anemone corms. I’ve tried following the ranunculus route which was to soak them for hours, plant them in a tray in moist soil in a cool dark place and let it be for a couple of weeks. This is the “best one” which shows something but everything else had mold growing on the top soil but not the corm itself. It’s in a tray shared with ranunculus corms which all have sprouted a little.

Mastodon #gardeners and #rose experts, I need advice. My rose shrubs have started to grow shoots eventhough they’re in an unheated garage with no lights. I water them lightly every couple of weeks and we’ve had mild temperatures this winter and they’ve apparently woken up. What do I do with these shoots? Do I just leave them? Or cut them? We’re going to have -15C to -20C in the coming weeks.
