I go through spurts where I care about my appearance. It’s usually in response to an insecurity, or a change in my life that leaves my outside and inside me mismatched. A smart woman I know suggested having a few superheroes in my closet (alas, not the Marvel type) to pull out that make me feel like a badass.
My work sometimes requires me to operate in places with a dress code. I bought these shoes to comply, but subtly poke at their staid code. Definitely a superhero. #Fluevogs #confidence

I got my first pair of #Fluevogs while I was in Canada (a pair of pink/purple Venables, in case you're curious). Since there's a contest on, I finally went through the entire site and added stuff to my wishlist. 66... pairs... of stuff. In fact.
Even w/ limitless money I don't think I'd buy that many pairs, ever, but damned if I wouldn't consider it XD.

I'm not even sure I *like* all of them but they do all make "come hither" motions at me.
