@jzdm @rstockm Ich fand da @hermannschule mit Hermannspost doch ein ganz gutes Projekt. Baut auf Matrix auf und nutzt eine angepasste Variante von #FluffyChat als Grundlage. Ist nicht perfekt, aber zumindest ein Projekt, was in die richtige Richtung geht.

Recently I've been getting exactly zero notifications on #fluffychat so I apologize to everyone whose messages I missed for a long time.

I've turned Element back on again in hopes that it pushes a bit more reliably... :/

Anyone heard of Zero Chat for #matrix? It looks like a reskin of #fluffychat. I say that only because the settings are almost identical and if you click on the source code button it takes you to the FluffyChat gitlab page. It looks like a pretty good reskin honestly however I’m always leery of trusting something I can’t find any information about especially with #e2ee chats :neofox_thonk:

Schade, #schildichat ist nicht zu verwenden und #fluffychat auch nicht. Selbst mit richtigen passwort. Ständig kommt diese verifizierungsmitteilung.

Is there not a functional #android app for #matrix that does not completely suck? #Element hangs a lot before it updates chats at all, same for #SchildiChat but not as long and not as frequent. #FluffyChat is over simplified and doesn't seem to have a way to have unread chats be on top, nor is there any jump to last read spot. Other clients don't have spaces, so they are already eliminated. Is there no other option?

#fluffychat seems to be a bit buggy when it comes to key exchange with other #matrix clients such as #element. Anyone else had problems with it?

#Element Desktop läuft derzeit nicht wirklich rund auf #Fedora 38 deswegen hab ich das mal gegen #Fluffychat getauscht. Sieht viel flüssiger und fast ein bisschen besser aus.

#Fluffychat is so good, but that name.. Every time I recommend it, the response I get is "what is that like a chat for furries?"

Ich nutze als Client #SchildiChat da er aus meiner persönlichen Perspektive die bessere alternative zu #Element ist.

Hab eben nach längerer Zeit mal wieder #FluffyChat getestet.
Die Meinung welche ich damals hatte bleibt nach wie vor, da sich seither nichts groß verändert hat. Fluffy hat potential und ich hoffe sie machen in Zukunft noch etwas daraus.
Ihr größtes Argument ist es multiple Accounts verwalten zu können.

Was mich nun zu meiner Frage bringt.

Kennt ihr noch andere #Matrix #Clients welche Multi-Account fähig sind?
Auf welchem OS verfügbar?
Was nutzt Ihr?

für ios gibt es meines wissens keinen vergleichbaren client wie conversations.im

erst #ejabberd, dann #prosody und jetzt #matrix (synapse). ich bin absolut zufrieden. elements unter ios läuft für mich perfekt. #FluffyChat ist auch ok https://fluffychat.im/

ACH, updated #fluffychat on #android just force closes in a loop. I can't downgrade it either because android doesn't do that (at least I couldn't easily).
A pain...

#FluffyChat (in the browser, I can't use the desktop app due to SSO) uses the same modal as Element, but only displays the first image about to be sent and while sending it freezes for a loooooooooooong time.
