We got the FluVax a couple of days ago. Within two hours, I was curled-up on the couch for a nap, and that night I crashed hard. Yesterday, I was feeling quarter-arsed most of the time and half-arsed at best. After two nights of sleeping like a log, I feel back to normal today. Whatever is in this year's FluVax sure packs a punch.
Far from trying to put-off anyone from getting vaccinated, I'm recommending you get the jab and you should brace yourself for your immune system going weird on you for a day or two.
I've been getting the FluVax every year for at least 15 years and haven't had a case of actual flu (aching bones and bedridden for a week) the whole time. It works.
And, then there's COVID. We're only three years into this pandemic, and your wussy human immune system needs all the help it can get. Get vaccinated.
