When I read the #FrankLloydWright autobiography I was in awe of his matter-of-fact confidence - a confidence to absolutely be sure that in an earthquake the Imperial Hotel Tokyo would survive. And, it did survive, it survived until 1967 when it was demolished - it had become unfashionable! It was the first building to have a floating foundation. #innovation #architecture #FLW #design

I don't normally follow photographers or add them to lists because there are just so many excellent and skilful people out in the #fediverse . I'd have a home feed full of images. However, I just have to add your work to my list #Architecture

Design on cotton fabric in shades of blue white black and grey. Probably for use in one of the buildings he designed. He designed and made, stained glass windows, wooden fitted furniture and lighting fixtures too. His was a holistic approach to architecture and design.
