Read Flying Witch volume 11 last night and that series continues to be great. A really good amount of laugh out loud moments in that #manga.

It’s not that I object to magic/supernatural elements in anime per se - see also my general adoration of Studio Ghibli & also #FlyingWitch.

I only tend to object to it when it doesn’t, or shouldn’t, fit the setting.

I’m fine with it in #DragonPilot, very much NOT fine with it in #RocketGirls.

Anyway, diversionary mini rant over, back to #ARIAtheANIMATION.

@torspedia I just finished #FlyingWitch! It was delightful, like falling asleep in the sunlight through the window. I thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks for the recommendation.

Making a robe for Chinatsu-chan is a sweet touch..

I like how much Makoto’s flying improves once Akane teaches her the trick of it. It’s a nice touch, that provides an indication of the passage of time since she had to work at it. #FlyingWitch

And of COURSE Akane has a large tab at Cafe Concrucio… which explains why she didn’t go with Makoto, Chinatsu & Kei a couple of episodes earlier… #FlyingWitch 😂🤣😂🤣

Anime licensing gets strange sometimes. The first three seasons of #YamaNoSusume have disappeared from all legit streaming sites, but season 4 is streaming this season on HiDive.

Meanwhile #FlyingWitch is on both CrunchyRoll AND HiDive (so I’m rewatching it on CR because the HiDive UX on the AppleTV is sucktastic).

@lantana would it be classed as cheating, if I'm already watching #FlyingWitch? 😉​😂​

@yattatachi I do like J.C. Staff, as #FlyingWitch is one of my favourite #anime!

Other than that, I don't really have a particular favourite!
