Our group from Bangor University were surveying wetland sites of The #Straits yesterday but a highlight for many was a visit to the Northern Bald Ibis colony !

We spent over an hour in their company discussing conservation efforts for the species, their status, history, behaviours and ecology 😊

Hanging out with singing Western Black-eared #Wheatears as the flow of European Bee-eaters, Black #Kites, Booted & Short-toed #Eagles, Egyptian #Vulture and more battled the #levante wind into #Europe ! 😊
