Now they’re at the house, removing the wood themselves, and spraying bleach lmao. Yes bleach. The mixture that is 98% water with a quickly evaporating chlorine component. The mixture that is not approved for mold remediation by the EPA or OSHA, for good reason. All this after they and their “expert” mold guy claimed the mold was just “Adhesive”. Great! The one parts supplier I knew for my old Dahon Speed TR closed its doors over a year ago.

I had a conversation with a local bicycle mechanic a few days ago: He says there is no such thing as a "Made in USA" bicycle. Everything is sourced from China.

Welp, the PSU is broken. I saw smoke coming from it and immediately pulled out cable from the wall.

Now it seems like the motherboard is fried.

Also cable powering the CPU is sooo hot that I almost burned my fingers.

yesterday I heard from Dave, the underground fiddler, for the first time in a while. I think about him a lot. he’d sit in on my sets at the Pike Place Market, he was also one of the folk who were part of the Transient Vultures, and we played together in other ad hoc bands. turns out that his health has gone to shit, featuring constant need for oxygen.

if that ain’t sucky enough, he also informed me that Blind Chad and Mick, two other Seattle busking friends, have died in the past month.

Ok, how do I set the deliverables when the engineering team can't tell me when they'll have a working system? Hard to train a client on a non-working system.

Being a PM is sometimes defined as "creating common sense." Hard to do when a project is nonsensical.
