My friend and I are going touring on my #foldingbikes … me on my Tern Verge P10 and she on my #brompton. I converted the Brompton from a 6 to a 10 speed with a new Sturmey-Archer 5 speed hub from Brommieplus. Tricky to adjust but in the end it works great and now both bikes have nearly same gear inches range! Here’s some picts.

My parents bought a pair of #dahonbikes #foldingbikes about 15 years ago to take on holidays. When I asked for advice about buying folding bikes to keep on our #narrowboat they said they didn’t use them any more and we could have them. After a quick trip to the bike shop for servicing they are good to go! Bit of a squeeze getting them on board as unfortunately they won’t fit under the bed but I really enjoyed having a bike to ride this weekend! And my parents like the space in their shed.

Bromton or Tern seems to be most available to try out locally. Are there other #foldingBikes that I should consider if I see one? What accessories are a high priority?

I went with a couple of friends for a ride yesterday from #FedSquare to, and all the way along, #GareinerCreekTrail.
Until the other week I though the end was at the junction with #AnniversaryTrail and #ScotchmerCreekTrail - but no! The upper section is definitely worth exploring!
Lunch at #MissLucy cafe (#Nunawading) was excellent.
