The Recks is a jazz-folk-funk five-piece band from the Isle of Sark in the Channel Islands.

Formed in 2012, The Recks have been releasing singles since 2014 with their debut album which this song is from, 'The Beast From The Sea' appearing in June 2018. The Recks focus predominantly on their live shows and plays a lot on various festivals.

Really enjoying this recent Cherry Red boxset of and psych. I'd given up hopes of unearthing many more lost gems of the early - I certainly doubt I'll find any more Great Lost Albums - but there are some stonking tracks on this alongside the already better known cult ones.
